“Alllrighty my dandy dewdrops! Since the trust exercise a few days ago was clearly ineffective-“
“You mean the one we didn’t even do?“ Zooble interrupted, exasperated.
“-I’ve decided a different team building adventure is in order!” Caine continued. “One that’s perfectly designed to help you better understand your fellow circus members!”
Pomni took a step back, not looking forward to whatever this was going to be.
Caine snapped his fingers and opened a portal. “By the end, all of your issues will be completely resolved! And we can finally move past all this interpersonal drama and get back to enjoying all of my amazing adventures! Have fun, my terrific little teacups!”
“W-wait-“ Ragatha stammered as they all tried to resist being pulled forward. “Aren’t you going to explain what we’re doing!?”
“Ah-ah! No spoiling the show!” Caine said as the force behind the portal became stronger and they all got sucked in.
Or: Jax has been avoiding Pomni since their fight, but when an adventure involving memories goes wrong, will she find a way to get through to him in time, or will his past turn out to be too much for both of them?

Summary
Kaoru had no clue what Adam was talking about, or what he might be planning, but regardless, he was content to simply ignore him. However, Kojiro seemed intent on trying to burn a hole through Adam’s skull with his eyes. He was glaring daggers at him, even when his announcement was over and he moved off to the side of the stage. Adam was sure to notice soon, if he hadn’t already.
“Stop that…” Kaoru muttered under his breath.
Kojiro blinked and looked at Kaoru, like he hadn’t even realized what he was doing. “Stop what..?”
Kaoru rolled his eyes. “Just pay attention. The race is starting.”
The lights started flashing, then the start was signaled and they watched until Miya and Shadow were out of sight before looking up at the screens.
Kaoru sighed. “Should we go catch the end at the finish line?”
“Nah… I think I wanna hang out here a bit longer.”
Kaoru didn’t question it, not particularly caring either way. He would soon wish he had.
Or, emotions run high at S, Adam gets a bit of comeuppance, and a long overdue conversation ensues.

He’s going to be fine. He’s going to be fine. He’s going to be-
But no matter how much he repeated that to himself, it all kept replaying in his mind like scenes from some awful movie designed to torture him.
The rocks racing towards them, Kojiro tackling him off the edge of the track, Kojiro shielding him as they fell, the jolt of Kojiro slamming into the ledge, getting separated from Kojiro as they fell into the water, slowly resurfacing after getting his bearings-
Kaoru had struggled with panic attacks when he was younger, he’d experienced fear from bailing hard and knowing it was going to be a bad break before he even hit the ground, he’d feared being crushed by rocks just moments before, but nothing compared to the terror that set in when he realized Kojiro was nowhere to be seen.

Daisy (or Jax, as she had previously been known) groaned as the implications of what she had just done finally set in. She told Pomni that she was dead! Well, she told Pomni that Jax was dead and, while that is technically true, she doubts that Pomni will appreciate the technicality when Daisy finally comes clean about how she's transfem, still working out the mechanics, not ready to tell anyone and about how she just panicked and told Pomni that Jax was dead and that Daisy was his sister.

He decides to give them a special adventure: taking a walk in each other’s shoes for as long as he sees fit. Unable to tell the others, Jax and Ragatha must adjust and try to be each other if they have any hope of being themselves again. And in the case of one of them, *If* they want to be themselves again…
