As a rule, Din Djarin did not set expectations. Plans, sure. Even goals. But not expectations. Everything that could go sideways or wrong on a bounty often did— especially when Jedi were involved.
But time-traveling Jedi… now that really re-set the bar.
For padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi's part, being pulled from Mandalore to Tython through nearly fifty of history felt pretty on-brand for his particular type of luck.

Summary
Obi-Wan doesn't know the tradition of an empty sheath among Mandalorians, it's not one Satine taught him. So he thinks nothing of it when he dons his armor for a trip to Little Keldabe, loses the knife he had on his belt when taking out a few members of a street gang who he found trying to mug someone. It's fine, it's not like he needs a bunch of weapons for a trip to the market to pick up shig leaves and enjoy some spicy food...
