“Me?” Dejun blinks at Kun, taken aback for some reason. “You want me to go on a… couples cruise? With Guanheng?”
“Well, you don’t have to actually be a couple,” Ten points out the obvious. “Can’t you just say you’re together?”
“That’s right!” Guanheng says. “We can just pretend we’re dating!”
The idea isn’t that bad on paper, is the thing, because surely it wouldn’t be that difficult to act like boyfriends for a bunch of free shit. But the geges know about the not-so-subtle crush he’s had on Guanheng since they were in college, which makes this a very bad idea. Like, an extremely bad idea.
But they hound him over and over again anyway, until he agrees. Because of course they do. If this goes as poorly as Dejun fears it will, he's blaming everything on Ten Lee.

Xiao Dejun is a broke, mostly-employed songwriter. Which is fine. He's also in love with his best friend. Which is also fine. But then said best friend pulls him into a scheme that includes a (gay) cruise, fake rings, and a lot of not-so-platonic touching. And that, to be honest, is not fine at all.

“You could say please,” Sion teases. He brushes their noses together. Riku doesn’t smell like durian anymore - he chugged a drink and now he just smells like tea and orange blossom and Sion’s shampoo.
“Hyung,” Riku purrs. He drags Sion down by the nape. He’s grinning. “Hyung, you taste good.”
Sion groans a little. “Don’t say that when I’m on top of you.”
But Riku just pulls him in closer. “Why not?” And he's right: Why not?
Sion blinks. He licks his lips. He doesn't have a good excuse for that. And really, they both know that. But it's just not fair, you know, because he's abstaining for the sake of his self control and general self esteem and everything...

The pack has gotten over (most) of the shit that went down when Ryo presented. Riku is his normal self, so is Yushi, Daeyoung could use a talking to, the pups are as fine as ever. Sion is... mostly fine. And maybe a tiny gluttonous for self punishment because he's, like, coping with the flaws of his personality.
But don't worry, because his mate will handle that. After all, there's nothing Maeda Riku's seduction can't fix. It's about time their pack alpha gets properly taken care of.

It's when they're cuddling after listening to the song that Yushi asks, his voice flat: “So you were gonna perform that in front of everyone?”
Daeyoung nuzzles into his nape. “Yup.”
“The song you wrote for me?” Yushi’s voice is tight. “About how much you love me?”
“Yes, hyung,” Daeyoung sighs a little but that’s mostly because he’s amused. “And you love me too, so-”
Daeyoung doesn’t even get scolded for how presumptuous he’s being because that’s when he nearly falls backwards off of the piano bench - Yushi whips his head around to glare at him. “I do,” he says. “I really love you, Daeyoungie.” It’s a sweet moment that Daeyoung would like to bask in, but then that’s when Yushi whips around the rest of his body, too, and the bench creaks as Yushi pushes up against him.
“Hyung!” Daeyoung yelps, jostled so hard he almost falls. “Hold on, what’re you-”
But Yushi grabs him by the front of his shirt and Daeyoung has a very hard time talking back as Yushi hyung says: “My Daeyoungie.” And then he yanks him into a kiss. “You’re mine.”

But Sion stands him up on a date and Riku's just gonna block him and forget it ever happened at all just like he’s supposed to - after all, Maeda Riku needs his life to stay painfully, painfully boring no matter what it takes. He needs it to be boring and stable and nothing about falling for some older guy who lives in Gwangju and lies about how good his baseball team is reeks of stability. Right? Right.

At the age of thirty-six, Tokuno Yushi feels like she has lived many lives. Like realizing she was a lesbian at five. Or moving to Korea at eighteen. Or starting her accidental influencer career at twenty-one. Or falling in love with her much younger and suspiciously puppy-like girlfriend, Daeyoung, at twenty-eight. Or coming out to her parents at thirty-four. God, yeah, there's that too.
But being one of the only out lesbian gaming influencers in the East makes her feel a little old and jaded and bitter when she's dunking on misogynists in VC and constantly being targeted by incels. Yet things are great. They're perfect, even. But there is something ugly in her belly when her chat calls Daeyoung her roommate and even after so many lives, she is still afraid and stuck in a closet made of glass.
So maybe it's about time she shatters it to pieces. So Yushi bows at Fushimi Inari and writes on her ema plaque: I want to be proud of who I am and I want everyone to see me as my true self. So she even means it.
