Mike, humble college student, is hard of hearing. Constantly having to buy new packs of hearing aid batteries is a total pain in the ass on a college budget, and today was no different.
Well, maybe it's a little different.
Who would've thought he'd run into a guy in the same boat as him?
AKA a dumb little modern spin on my favorite idv headcanon of Mike having hearing loss (dealing with explosives every day CANNOT be good for your hearing.)
Also, being caught in a massive explosion head on? There's no way Norton's hearing didn't suffer from that either. -
