After an accidental dosing of aphrodisiac flowers, Shen Qingqiu falls upon Yue Qingyuan like a rabid dog and is welcomed into his arms without hesitation. The event leaves them even more strained after, but there's also another side effect. Deep in Yue Qingyuan's body, a tiny light ignites, and he would tear the world apart to protect it.
There's no need to inform Shen Qingqiu of this development. Yue Qingyuan, as always, will handle his own affairs without bothering his most important person with matters that would only upset him. This will definitely not lead to later hardships.

Being the Sect Leader of Cang Qiong Mountain, a cultivator of some repute, this is not the first time someone has attempted this sort of scheme on him; the taste is almost familiar. It is a common but effective aphrodisiac, relatively easy for malicious actors of this sort to get their hands on.
“What--?” Shen Qingqiu asks, throwing an arm up over his face, trying to block the dust with his sleeve. But he coughs, and Yue Qingyuan can already tell that it is too late for him as well. They have both breathed it in.

How could he fail so horribly? How could he--?
