This was ridiculous.
Except— he learned one thing during his long, complicated transition from being... what he used to be... to being human again.
When something kept gnawing at you like this, ignoring it didn't help.
And Shedletsky, for all his theatrics, wasn't stupid.

“It was frightening, almost, seeing someone who was so dear to them turn into such a monster. Not that Two Time could say anything about that, because it was all their fault anyways.
Azure did not say anything, continuing to stare deeply at Two Time. His eyes wandered, making the other tilt their head slightly in confusion. Oh, right, they were a cat. A cat with cat ears, a curious tail and a goddamn kitty vocabulary.
“Azure, I’m… n-nyat…”
They cringed internally.”
Or
Two Time gets hit with an effect that turns them into a cat. It carries over rounds, and eventually Azure encounters their new, temporary form.
