Summary
An alternative story in which the 76th Hunger Games are carried out. Zeb Galloway and Rea Taur end up participating in the Games, and now they will have to survive at all costs while trying to maintain some humanity within themselves.
Rea has a goal: to protect someone she loves, while another player seems to have taken her as bait. Meanwhile, Zeb is willing to do anything to avoid letting down his father.
This story centers around the districts we have seen less, especially Districts 9 and 6.
It takes place during the time of the 75th Games (second movie/book), but in this story, Snow suspects there might be rebellious attacks and decides to take more time to prepare for the Quarter Quell. In its place, he holds the 76th Games.
