Summary
Waverly Earp never thought she would be engaged to a billionaire, and yet her she was with a ring on her finger from her fiancé Perry Crofte. While trying to figure out how to call of the engagement, Waverly meets Nicole Haught, a young deputy who just moved to Purgatory. From the very first time their eyes meet, they share a connection. Waverly desperately wants to be friends with her, but will that be enough? When she comes to want more than just friends, will she ever come to face her truth?
This is going to be a slow-ish burn set in an alternative-ish universe starting with when Wayhaught first meet. I'm bad at summaries but here you go. This work was (very loosely) inspired by a series of works by GoldenWaffles called the Trophyverse and the wayhaught youtube video I'm on Fire by Bruce Springsteen.
