Look, Narumi Gen just wants to hold his boyfriend's hand and have a good time so if he has to cosplay as himself to do that, he will. And the maid outfit is only to throw people off his trail, really! It’s not like it’s going to awaken anything in him, right?
Well, Hoshina Sōshirō would love to disagree with all of the above.

Summary
Hoshina Soushirou, a vice-captain of Tachikawa base, overhears a group of female operators gossiping about him and the captain of Ariake base, Narumi Gen. They speculate that Narumi has a crush on Hoshina, comparing Narumi's teasing behavior to that of a boy who bullies someone he likes. Although Hoshina is initially skeptical, he starts to notice that Narumi's actions may indeed hint at affection.
