Summary
Doyoung stills in horror.
He intended to refill his suppressants, but his work took priority over even food and rest. His secondary gender and its accompanying heat suppressants were the last things on his mind. He took his last pill three days ago.
He’s heard about omegas facing the most excruciating heats of their lives after going off long-term suppressants. His core tightens, warmth blooming traitorously between his legs. His heat’s effects throb through his stomach, and panic lights him up. Heats and ruts and hormones are far too unpredictable for his liking. What he longs for is a life of control and stability.
Doyoung freezes at the scent of an approaching alpha. He can’t be seen lurching around, heat-drunk, mere days before a major project deadline. If his team members see him now, what will they think of him?
