Ed’s face softens. “Of course you aren’t,” he says, tone coaxing. “You’re Izzy.” He reaches out, one hand. Izzy doesn’t move away. He can’t. Ed’s fingers touch his face, grazing his jaw, and he shivers. “My Izzy,” Ed says. The conviction in his voice sets Izzy’s cock to throbbing. “My friend, yeah?”
“Of course I’m your friend, Ed,” Izzy says, That’s why I can’t—”

Summary
Ed and Stede are happily reunited, and after a lot of hard work repairing relationships, things are finally looking up for the crew of the Revenge. Until Izzy disappears, that is.
When Izzy is found in an unexpected heat, new relationships are formed and feelings are revealed (after trying his hardest to repress them of course, Izzy didn't magically develop emotional intelligence).
