“I have one condition, though,” Erling says, Jude nodding his head.
“Whatever it takes.”

“Oh, Erling,” Jobe sighs dramatically, his tone teasing again, as if reading Jude’s mind. “My big, strong Erling. Oh please won’t you bid for my hand and make me forever yours.”
“Shut up,” Jude laughs, his face crimson now. “You are so cringe. You know it’s not like that. We’re just friends.”
Jobe rolls his eyes playfully.
“We are!” Jude insists. “Come on. Think of what I’m dealing with here. When you turn twenty-one, wouldn’t you rather marry someone you actually like?”
“I know,” Jobe says softly, kissing his brother’s cheek. “I get it. I’m just teasing you. I don’t envy you. I know you wouldn’t be doing this if you didn’t have to. And I want you to find some sort of happiness from your marriage. So if you have to marry someone, it might as well be him.”

As he approaches his twenty-first birthday, Prince Jude of the Kingdom of Bellingham will be offered to the royal families of the neighbouring kingdoms, so that their eligible alphas may bid for his hand in marriage if they wish. There is one alpha prince who Jude hopes will bid for his hand, but he’s not sure if Erling of Haaland even wants him, and he knows that there are others willing to pursue him…

His right hand carrying a raccoon holding a whiskey bottle and his left hand carrying squirrels. He winks at Jude as the omega wipes the fake tears on the corner of his eyes. “No mate, you turn me off.”
“I’m ready to give you top and you bring dead animals into my room?” Jude complains, pouting with no actual fury, fake sulking back to laying on his pillow.
