Ignore what he said earlier; it was that hard.
The recipe was fairly easy, but Bucky didn’t know that making chocolate chip cookies with a bunch of children would be this hard. Cass accidentally dropped an egg, AJ spilled sugar all over the countertop, and Bucky got flour all over himself after failing to pour the flour into the mixture.
And Sam just had to come in at that moment, didn’t he?
"Hey, did Frosty come over and puke on you or...?"
“No! It’s just flour!”
“I was just joking, man, you look great.”

“Thank you.”, he repeats, his heart swelling with joy at the simple gestures. “No problem.”, he mumbles between two bites, shrugging like it wasn’t a big deal. But they both knew better. Summary
It's Leipzig he makes his comeback for. The 86th minute comes, and they are already leading 1-4 when he steps onto the pitch for the first time in almost 200 days. He's got the number 10 on his back for the first time and the away fans are cheering him on. Still, he wishes they were at home, standing ovations in the Allianz feel special in their own way. Michael has a smile on his lips as he is running towards him. In under 30 minutes, he had already secured three assists. Michael picks him up and clasps his hands before motivating the fans to cheer even more. Jamal feels warm all around.

As he walked, he couldn't help noticing that almost everyone was looking at him. The stares weren't malicious, though, so he paid them little mind. He had been on the receiving end of enough different kinds of looks throughout his life to recognize them. These weren't judgmental.
If anything, they seemed... amused. And strangely fond. He could even hear a few quiet chuckles as he walked past.
Germans are weird, Michael thought.
