It had been a long time since Isaac had felt loved, even in the most platonic of ways. He was searching for it when he joined Derek's pack, he just hadn't realized at the time. His father used to love him, and then one day he no longer did. His brother said he loved him but he still left him at the hands of a monster. He understood deep down that his brother had to get away, had to become better, and then he'd do like he always promised. He would come back for Isaac.

Summary
The moment Scott found out Isaac had left without so much as a goodbye, he felt his heart break. Stiles had been so sure his friend would wallow in heartbreak for a while. Sure it had taken him a while to realize his best friend was staring at another man in a way he hadn't seen him look at anyone before. Not even Allison. So when Scott shrugged his shoulders and acted like it was no big deal, Stiles became rightfully concerned.
The alpha felt like he could barely breathe but he had a pack to take care of. Maybe one day he'd find the time to acknowledge just how badly it hurt. Hopefully he'd find love again before that day came. Scott locked all of his emotions up in some invisible box in his heart and hid it away. His pack. That was his priority. Isaac was allowed to do what was best for him and Scott would never hold that against him. Beacon Hills brought the beta nothing but hurt. Sure Scott thought that he would be enough to make up for it but maybe all those stolen glances, subtle touches, and quick kisses only meant something to him. That is fine. You can't make someone love you.

A roar escaped Scott’s mouth as he stared at the house in front of him. Flames engulfed his childhood home but he wasn’t crying over his clothes or any family heirlooms. He knew his mom was safe at work but Isaac… Isaac had been home. Isaac - his best friend next to Stiles. Isaac - the beta that trusted him with all he had and that he trusted just as strongly. Summary
Joshua’s eyebrows raise when he realizes who it is. He blinks. “Mingyu,” he says. “I thought you were out with Jeonghan. He’s not home yet.”
All reason promptly leaves Mingyu’s mind. He never came up with the best way to put it, anyway. Didn’t figure out how to ask. So, he just lets his body lead.
“I thought about it,” Mingyu says, leaning against the door frame, cheeks hot from his jog, breath uneven. “I think we should have sex.”
(OR: Mingyu gets over a one-sided heartbreak by getting laid. He's a lover, not a fighter.)

Summary
Joshua was a best friend of a friend, as simple as that, nothing more than that. Until one day, Seungcheol literally laid his hand on Joshua's waist to help him from falling, and a simple question popped into his mind.
