Summary
Silver has always been dutiful, always sure of who was and where he stood in the world. But recent events have shaken him and the dust has only just begun to settle when something else begins to drag him down. It isn't until an intervention with those he considers family that he realizes his own heart might be betraying him. Caught between the weight of expectation and feelings he can’t yet voice, he struggles under his family's well intentions and sharp words.
Meanwhile, Idia finds himself unraveling in his own way, fumbling through classes, conversations, and the unbearable press of everyday life as the echo of his embarrassing confession lingers at the back of his mind. And it seems its here to stay.
Two boys, both burdened by loneliness and fear of rejection, orbit closer and closer to one another. Each of them is left wondering if it’s safe to let someone see the truth.
