Summary
Classic Sonic ends up in the modern timeline once again, this time for seemingly no particular reason, and lands in Angel Island. Knuckles find him and decides to help him out.
Sonic eventually joins them, and the three of them decide to wait out until they can get Classic Sonic back to his own timeline.
While they wait, Classic and Knuckles bond, and Sonic can't believe he's starting to get jealous of himself.

Summary
Ryland looked down at his clipboard, where he had written a reasonable script, supplied earlier that day by Adrian. Unfortunately, the moment his eyes landed on the words, his brain supplied only terrible ways to say them.
He chose the worst one.
“I need flowers with prominent reproductive structures.”
The man went completely still.
Ryland could feel his soul attempting to leave his body.
“For a plant anatomy lab,” he added quickly. “For my students. Middle school students. Not–” He cut himself off, because there was simply no end to that sentence that would improve his situation. Instead, he just weakly smiled, and added “Science.”

It's a modest home, 2 bed 2 bath, a nice kitchen, comfy living room, and a great view of the really attractive garbage man that services Grace's new street every Monday morning. After a literal run-into the mystery man, Grace makes (poor) attempts to apologize to the man, thus following the trials and errors of said attempts, which may lead down a more complicated path than either man expected...

Simon's usually stoic face scrunched with confusion. "What are you doing?"
"Well- I just, ya know. I just wanted to-" Grace closed his eyes and took a deep breath that did nothing to calm his nerves before he shakily managed out. "I made you, a bouquet."
Simon's expression only twisted further into distress, "Why did you do that?"
Grace felt his measly courage wheeze out of him like a pathetic balloon, letting out a weak little, "Huh?"
After a moment for this brain to catch up with his mouth, he gulped and opened his mouth to try again, then stopped. Started again. "It’s… flowers."
"Yes," Simon said slowly, "I can see that."
Grace swallowed and tentatively added, "…For you."
That landed wrong. Simon’s immediately tensed, not in anger, more like suspicion and concern. He eyed the flowers with pursed lips before slowly drawing out another, "Why?"
"What?"
