Summary
"He– the kids, he– the rainbow room–" Eddie clutched at Waynes shoulders, his face filled with fear and desperation as he tried to communicate what he saw to Wayne. "He killed them, he killed them, he–"
Wayne's breath caught in his throat. He killed them. Eddie was telling him this like he would understand, tears streaming down his face, like Eddie needed help, like it was real–
"It was just a dream, Bubba, you're okay, it was just a dream." Wayne tried his best to not sound afraid, but Eddie simply shook his head, letting out a harsh sob. Wayne held him close, eventually getting into bed with Eddie and rubbing his back as he muttered about Him, and the dead children in the rainbow room, and the monster in the red storm.
It was September, 1979. His boy was never quite the same.

Summary
When Will finally turns to the window, hand over his mouth like it might keep him from betraying himself, Jonathan is forced to blink back tears on his little brother’s behalf. Will’s never had it easy but this… this should’ve been smooth sailing. Sure, people like Troy Walsh and Lonnie Byers and every intolerant bible-thumper in their backwater town couldn’t make things simple for someone like Will, but this wasn’t them.
This was Mike Wheeler, the same boy who had once fought tooth and nail against the world to find his best friend; now distant and distracted, and everybody but him seemed to realize it.
But Jonathan can’t say anything without outing Will, and his advice would likely be unwanted at the moment, so he only returns his attention to the unending yellow lines, mile after mile swallowed up under the van’s wheels.

Summary
"Jonathan!" Will lifted his arms but didn't get out of bed. "Eddie picked me up from school!"
"I stole your bike," Eddie added. "Dude, you really need a better lock. Took me no time to get through it."
Jonathan laughed, and took a single step before collapsing across the foot of the bed. He groaned into the blankets.
"How come you didn't tell Eddie it was your birthday?" Will continued.
"Yeah man, not cool," Eddie stretched his legs to push at Jonathan’s side. "I would've got you something."

Summary
Steve jerks awake, sitting up so quickly that Robin almost topples over and staring wildly around the room. When his gaze lands on Eddie, he blanches visibly.
“Oh, shit,” he mutters. “Come on, no. Come on. Not again.”
“Harrington?” Eddie asks slowly. He does not love the way that Steve is staring at him right now. He really doesn’t. Steve looks like he’s staring at a ghost, a bloodied monster, like Eddie is something that should not exist in the light of day. “You good, dude?”

Time loop fix-it where Steve is looping but the story is from Eddies POV, good use of music and culture trivia

Bookmarker's Notes
I've thought about this fic multiple times through the years, just re-read in 2026, still appreciate it. A thoughtful, in character exploration of taboo fantasy
