Summary
Felix didn’t lack self-awareness. The opposite, he was far too aware. Of himself, of the way he was perceived, the way he looked. Just like the need to win, the need to be respected, to be crushing the necks of the weakest, he needed to be perfect.
So he shouldn’t want Chan to see right through him, to pull him into the burning desire that would destroy the image Felix worked so hard to achieve. He shouldn’t want Chan, and Chan shouldn’t want him.

For a split second, Chan wants to snap at Minho. There's a foreign heat curling in his chest and working up his throat. He shoves the feeling down.
"You enjoy provoking me," he says instead.
"I enjoy seeing what's underneath all that composure," Minho replies easily. "You're always so controlled, so careful. It makes me curious."
