Just as Alex entered the car, Henry asked. “What’s wrong? Why do you look sad? ”
Alex, sensing the somber mood inside the car, turned to his husband with a questioning look, and Henry silently gestured towards Artie, who was now leaning on the padded side of his car seat while looking down at his hand and pouting.
“¿Qué pasa, chiquito? Hmm... Tell Papa and Daddy what you want,” Alex prompted again, fully turning to his son.
“Come on, now, darling. Tell us,” Henry said with a soft smile, encouraging Artie to tell them what he wants.
“Tell us, mijo. And we will get it for you,” Alex added.

Artie, their 4-year-old son, wanted something but was too shy to ask his parents.

Summary
Between the two of them, Alex has always thought he'd be the one to cave first.
They've both arrived at the same time. Henry looks stupid-good in his well-fitted tuxedo. His hair is just over-styled enough that Alex wants to mess it up, and badly.
How one man can be so like this is frankly upsetting. No, scratch that; it's illegal, is what it is. Criminal law is not Alex's domain, but he's pretty sure being this tempting in public is a certifiable offense.
