Etiquette states that an Alpha needs to present his potential mate with proof of his "worth," and most of the time, it is typical romantic things like flowers, candies, etc. Shouta was...too practical in his approach. He got Hizashi things that the Omega needed, like toothpaste, socks, and missed notes from class. Now, as adults, Shouta wants to try again.

He’s got a killer Quirk, it’s not like he’d ever need to be good at hand-to-hand. Right, guys?”
Like most moments of casual reckoning between Class 1-A and Aizawa, it started with Kaminari being stupid.
