Nico gasped as he felt his hand get impressively hot and grasped it out of Jason’s grip to see it was slowly turning purple where the blond had touched him.
“Wow” Nico looked up at the sound of Jason’s whisper. The boy was holding his now blue hand close to his chest and smiled at Nico “Hey—”
Nico didn’t let the boy finish. Instead, with panic raising on his chest, he stepped on the nearest shadow. When the darkness started to surround him, he saw Jason’s own panicked face, the son of Jupiter looking at him in despair.
The last thing Nico heard was Jason’s scream.
