He lowered his voice into what was not quite cold, but most certainly not warm at all. There was a flash in his eyes, but it was disingenuous to call it "light." Rather, it was the glint of a hunter with its prey in its eyes.
"To better act as your follower, I'm going to purge every last ounce of depravity from myself," he explained. "So, Takumi— for my reward, what I want is for you to forgive every single thing I'm going to do to you tonight. You'll let me have that, right?"
