Summary
Yes. Ryland Grace saved Earth and Erid. However, he can never go home. He spends his life on Erid, teaching the pebbles about Earth and science. Of course, he is lonely. Hundreds of years after the Silent Rapture in the Milky Way, Grace decides to gear up the ship and see if any humans are still alive. He arrives at a planet covered in a blood ocean when a distress signal reaches his ship. He finds a mutated man named Simon. Grace decides to take Simon out of the bloody depths to study him and try to help him find more humans. As they travel to find survivors, these spacemen fall in love.
