Summary
Wuyang is a broke college student. Mizuki is an employee at an esoteric host club. Unexpectedly, their worlds collide one day without Wuyang even needing to step foot inside the building. Both are lonely in their own ways, but the more Wuyang learns about Mizuki, the more questions he finds himself with — questions whose answers lie behind the doors of the very establishment Mizuki is determined to keep Wuyang far away from.

“It’s fake” Dazai assures him, sitting with his legs crossed on his unmade bed “Totally, completely, absolutely just a pretend thing”
Chuuya just stares at him, digesting it in silence as he slowly blinks at Dazai across from him and hopes some of his discomfort can pass for confusion. He wonders why Dazai sounds so desperate to convey this to him when this shouldn’t be any of Chuuya’s business.
But Dazai huffs an annoyed breath at his lack of answer, wrinkling his nose in impatience and the soft sunlight catches in his face just right and he is so beautiful, with his stupid silly pout and Chuuya can’t even hold the denial in place for half a second apparently.
So alright, Dazai is in a fake relationship and maybe Chuuya does care.Or, that one College AU where all the tropes apply, featuring Dazai’s attempts at communicating that only make things worse and the ensuing chaos

This was a very enjoyable fic to read. I really enjoyed the way the both of them were portrayed as well as their relationship. I did like the way things weren’t resolved imedetly. Reading about the thoughts and emotions of them even while things weren’t working out well was enjoyable. The scene setup was also really detailed and well explained. I also liked the consistency of how their relationship changed over the time skip. It didn’t feel like it was a time skip to be a way to get to the next part faster. The way you conveyed the emotions of all the characters throughout the entire story was really and truly written amazingly. Also the cat was one of my personal favorite developments.

“The Flower Mistress’s Regret?” Kaveh repeats the words and it makes him feel queasy inside, “Isn’t that what the legend calls that….. story of a goddess and her retainer?”
The small goddess hums thoughtfully, “That story is not passed down quite as accurately.” Her eyes are downcast as she says this, looking near grief stricken.
“Oh?” Kaveh feels rather sheepish at the display, especially since he caused it and swallows down the urge to pick her up and hug away the sadness she wears.
“It’s true she was the Goddess of Flowers, but he was not just any retainer of hers; the silent love was actually the Scarlet King.” She explains mournfully, “His love doomed them and the land, so she cursed herself.”
“She…. cursed herself?” Kaveh inhales sharply, his throat cinsticting as deard fills his gut. He could imagine it, torn by the grief of an unrecognised love, a punishment she placed on herself.
How awful, and yet Kaveh feels as though it was exactly what he would have done. Ironic that.

This was a wonderful piece of work. I loved the concept of them being the reincarnation of the Goddess of Flowers and King Deshret. I really enjoyed the way all of the characters were written and portrayed. I really enjoyed this fic and I will definitely be coming back to read it every now and then. Truly a wonderful job.

This has been amazing so far! The emotional roller coaster was great. The writing is so incredibly detailed but also not to an extent that makes it seem like a scene is dragging on. The character growth and relationship progression from Wanderer and Kazuha is really touching. I really like how everyone is portrayed in this fic. I am a huge Yae Miko fan and it’s kind of refreshing to see her be portrayed in a different way. Although she’s kinda bitchy but her being written in this way really adds an impact into the story.I can’t wait for more and I’m sure whatever comes next will be amazing just as the last chapters have been!!

Just as Kaveh turns away from the orange tree, Alhaitham’s mother blooms into a heartfelt laugh, a soft and melodic sound like the distant ringing of wind chimes. And he realizes that Alhaitham inherited his mother’s laugh, too.
“You truly love him,” she says in between chuckles. “Deeply and devastatingly so.”
Kaveh can’t help but burst into laughter himself, “Am I really that obvious?”
She nods, “You want to marry my son.”
“I do.”
Before proposing, Kaveh decides to find a way to meet with Alhaitham's family in order to properly ask for Alhaitham's hand in marriage.

When Alhaitham gets to the hospital, Cyno is throwing up.
Somehow, that’s the thing that makes everything inside him come to a screeching halt.
He had hoped, some desperate and hopeful part of him, that maybe it would be okay. Maybe he would be fine, and they could go home and leave it all in the past. He was just getting checked up at the hospital. He was fine.
The sight of Cyno, hunched over, retching horribly as he cried, finally crushes the hope left in Alhaitham’s chest.At the end of the day, Alhaitham has always been at Kaveh's side, to weather each storm.

Absolutely wonderful piece, how could I not read it all in one go when it was intriguing from the start! Perfect mix of sadness, angst, comfort the whole list. Made cry and laugh, but most of all it distracted me from the world and I was just there reading this amazing fan fiction. I will deff come back to read it again. <33
