Summary
He didn’t take his eyes off his work for another half hour at least, but when he allowed himself a break long enough to glance back over at Cherri’s apartment, he noticed that the light had been switched on. Pendleton smiled to himself as he looked at the posters littered over the walls, bordering one of the vinyl records that she’d gotten framed to hang.
There was a brief flash of a shadow before it was gone again, and Pendleton had to do a double take to make sure he wasn’t losing his mind. Surely enough, though, Cherri stepped into view.
His eyes followed her movements, watching as she tidied her room a little. He should really be getting back to his work, after all, there’s no logical reason for him to sit here unproductively and watch his friend roam around her room for five minutes straight...
And then Cherri starts to undress.
