This is a bit inconvenient for Yeong, who is not best pleased about how this is going to badly interfere with his work. Summary
Jo Samshik, unfortunately, happens to be incurably obsessed with The King: Eternal Monarch. Does he like it? That’s up for debate. Does he love it? Undoubtedly. Does it have flaws? Of course, but how else would he be able to write rambling tumblr posts at 3am about every way it could have been better?
The character he feels most sorry for is Jo Yeong, so when his untimely death leads him to being reborn into Jo Yeong’s body, Samshik is horrified - and terrified of what might become of him when he eventually winds up back in Cheonjongo in 1994. There’s only one thing for it, so Lee Gon can be persuaded to prioritise saving his best friend above all else:
Kiss ass as hard as possible. Shouldn’t be too hard, right? And definitely won’t come with any unforeseen consequences…

Summary

Unfortunately, the universes are cruel, and a bright idea from Jo Eunseob means that now Yeong is faced with an unbearable future of watching Gon make heart eyes at Taeeul for the rest of his goddamn life. Both Gon's future and his own seem set in stone, but as unconquerable issues and long-held secrets come to light, maybe the universes' plans aren't quite as straight forward as they once appeared.

The one where all the Haikyuu!! boys have corporate jobs!
Genuinely my favourite Haikyuu!! fic ever, when I think of Haikyuu!! fics this is the first one that comes to my mind, this was formative for me. This is the reason why the concept of an “office au” makes me excited, now, no matter what the fandom.

The one where Shane is dating a prick that subtly belittles him in a way that he can convince himself out of, but everyone else can see how awful this guy is!
I really loved this fic, it was so satisfying to break this pairing up and get Shane with someone who actually appreciates who he is - and more than that, the writing style just really spoke to me. An author after my own heart!
