Summary
Whilst Reiner replied, Bertholdt kept his focus on the fire. Compared to the ones usually alight in the dusk or the cold, this was huge.
Large amounts of wood stacked onto each other, creating a fire equally intimidating. Even with his tall stature, the flames reached his length. Smoke billowed from the top, contrasting with the light traces of air that left their mouths.
From across the way, someone began to speak. All three give their full attention, hoping they looked simply enthusiastic.
