Summary
Wuyang’s memories are blurred of what happened after a talon raid, but when he wakes up with enough pain killers to make his brain mush and Anran with sunken in eyes asleep at his bedside… The truth of what has happened to him is realized. everything about Wuyang Ye's life has to change after the incident. Multiple people offer their comfort to someone broken by the reality of Overwatch, but Wuyang is ready to isolate, give up on his dreams, and rot away. Others? Not so much.

. . . he waited for a reply, but as he kept listening to flames and gunfire from around him, he sniffled. Nobody was going to talk to him if they were busy fighting the fight that he led them to. Yet, it was supposed to be an easier mission, right? It wasn’t supposed to go wrong. Wuyang sniffled, a dry sound that didn’t have any moisture in it anyway, but he could feel himself trying to cry anyways. His eyes were so sore with smoke.
“Please…! Anyone, please just talk to me, I’m begging you,” Wuyang hiccupped. A dry cough rattled through his entire frame.
