Summary

When he tries to shoot their vicious alpha king, the bullets show him the truth.
The last thing he sees before drowning in darkness is the alpha's mocking grin which burns into his mind.

Park Jimin was happy in his own little bubble and stayed out of the way of his two elder alpha brothers, who always seemed to be serious and talking about 'affairs related to the state' with their father, the King.
Jimin preferred to have tea with his mother instead, while the elder omega gossiped about the extended royal family.
So in short, Jimin was a spoilt young omega prince, and he preferred to remain that way.
