Summary
When Makima died, her control over Quanxi ended- but that’s not the same as being free. Blackmailed into serving Public Safety, Quanxi survives on the hope she might one day bring her lovers back, numbing herself to the grief before it overwhelms her.
But it’s hard to ignore what’s in front of your nose. When Public Safety assigns Quanxi as handler to the unruly and defiant Grief Fiend, she won’t be able to avoid her pain for much longer.
Still, things could be worse- at least the Grief Fiend is a cute girl.
————Largely canon compliant up through book 16. This is an emotional catharsis and eventual unbury your gays fic. There’s gonna be a lot of pain but a happy ending. Expect piles of lesbian sex, a good chunk of drama, all my fan theories, and action scenes which will hopefully improve as I go.
