Yao Guang’s chuckle is the bell that tolls for her, turning already shaky legs into nothing but mush as a second gloved hand finds a sturdy, well defined hip. She tightens her hold on Yao Guang as if her life depends on it.

A bejeweled hand finds her cheek, gently guiding her gaze back to confident blues she didn’t realize she’d been avoiding.
“There are so many potential paths, like rivers running into an ocean. Ultimately, which one I end up cascading down is not always for me to know, until I am already plunging down it.” she breathes, knee sliding further forward, the pressure forcing a gasp from Evanescia’s lips as her eyes go wide.
