In a post-war world (almost ten years, can you believe it), I think that it’s time that we begin to question whether or not the Aurors and the Ministry are serving the people’s best interests.
After all, we have seen a consistent lack of call to action, a systemic problem of under-representation of minority populations, such as werewolves, house-elves, and even Squibs over the past decades. When you add those together and add in the reality that they are promoting the Chosen One for what can only be explained as a popularity contest...
The question needs to be asked to the Wizengamot: Has the Ministry turned into something that no longer serves the people? Are the Aurors still protecting the people or simply allowing those abusing their people and corrupting the system?
