    But Lance saw and felt the signs that they didn't want him anymore. The excuses they gave him, the way they shirked from his touches, the exclusion from intimacy. But the biggest sign was the bond marks they had given him were fading away.

    Desperately needing a break from the heartache, Queen Allura invited Lance on an archaeological expedition to Oriande. Only...Lance didn't tell Keith and Shiro he was leaving.
