BOOK TWO! (You really need to read Grey Area first I think haha)
We pick up right where we left off- Peter taking a forced vacation, kidnapped by the Kingpin of New York. His disappearance puts his friends and family into overdrive trying to find him, bending morals and breaking rules. The city is still under Fisk's invisible rule, and it's only getting worse. But the fight is now on two fronts, with Peter trying to take the gang down from the inside, while still trying to protect the people he loves. Secrets will be forced out. Betrayal is the new normal. Ends justify the means, that's how you win... right?Comic book fans look no further, I'm pulling alllll the stops- references and easter eggs galore. Super complex plot, I wove a crap ton in here for y'all so get ready!
And as usual: Tony and Peter father and son vibes but this time its REALISTIC. Norman third wheels as a wanna be dad.
Huge emphasis on friend group - Harry, MJ, Gwen, Ned. Little subplot of romance but its meaningful, and the girls kick ass ON THEIR OWN. All the sarcasm you could wish for, but that being said, a little darker tone on this one as we get gritty. ENJOY!Series

Summary
Peter’s in college, interning at Stark Industries under a watchful eye of Tony Stark. His hands are full as Spider-Man with a gang spreading fear in the streets of New York & bankrupting the city. Peter is determined to do whatever it takes to find out who's behind the attacks, even if that means being in over his head when the web of lies and greed turns out to be way more than he signed up for.
We've got the whole Scooby gang- Aunt May, Harry Osborn (and Norman), MJ, Ned Leeds & Gwen Stacy.
- I like to dig a little deeper than just MCU, pulling from comics as well. Traits from all 3 spidermen to create Peter :)
- Gradual father-son relationship because duh irondad & spiderson but!! lets make it BELIEVABLE
- Realistic take on peters inevitable trauma from the crap he has to deal with on a daily basis
- Will-they-won't-they, love triangle, friendships, action, angst, comfort
- Most importantly, my fav: *drumroll* a HECK ton of sarcasm. a lot. the banter is off the charts guys

"I am going to find Tony," the man hisses in Peter's ear, his gaze cold and cruel. "And when I do, I will kill him, slowly. What do you say to that-" The man stops short because Peter's shoulders are shaking, and before he can curl his lip in victory, he hears a snicker. When he lets go of Peter's hair, the teen's head slumps to his chest, but it's not out of exhaustion or defeat...it's to hide a smile.
The boy lets out a laugh, shaking his head before glancing to the sides admitting apologetically, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, it's just- it is so fun to mess with you!" He looks around before snorting, "Tony Stark? That's your play? You're not screwing with me, right? You actually thought that would work? Sorry guys." Peter straightens in his chair with a sneer and a cocky wink, "Tony doesn't give a flying crap about me."
In other words.... Peter is kidnapped and his captors think they can hold Tony against him. But they don't know what's happened in the past couple months.

Summary
JJ grew up with the reputation of ‘the kid that just won’t shut up’. The kid that teachers dreaded having in class. He knows how to change the subject on a dime, rambling inanely about just about anything in order to distract, entertain, diffuse tension, avoid attention. It was his defense when he was young and scrawny, and by the time he grew taller and stronger, it was just a part of him. So, when JJ notices John B starting to act similarly, to speak about nothing in hopes of distracting the rest of them, it was definitely a red flag.

Summary
JJ hears it from his dad first -- the news that Big John is missing. He doesn't even hear the words at first, just registers the sound of his dad shouting from the other room, which manifests as the thrill of fear, of anxiety, of the questioning of oh god what is it now that comes with hearing Luke’s raised voice. But when JJ does put it together, that Big John has been officially declared missing, that is a problem. Because if JJ is hearing it from his dad of all people, that can't mean anything good for John B.
