Hello from 2026! It has been almost 10 years since I wrote this fic and about that amount of time since I read it in full. With Outlander, the show, coming to an end, I figured I'd give it a clean-up on the off-chance somebody finds this old thing. She's just as she was, only (hopefully) a little better.

I’m enjoying going back and filling in some of the missing Metric Universe details. This one is set during the time of Jamie’s injury, so just after The Beginning, and it introduces some important secondary characters.
