Dazai was happy. Well, not really, given his lifestyle and psychological setup, but he was as happy as one could be in the mafia. He had friends, a partner, a life never boring. And yet, things were not okay. But as long as he has the people he loves close to him, then he will keep pushing on.
That's what he believed, until he was offer an interesting deal...
This is my take on what happened during the Dark Era, mixed with some theories about the plot that have not yet been resolved!

And others think that though your story has some prededtined elements, but you have to make choices to make it happen or not. And about that, two skeletons can attest of that fact. Two skeletons who have known each other for litterally their whole lives. Ready to discover their story?
This is a 'feel good story'! I tried to not put too much angst in it, contrary to my other stories, but I probably failed at some point... But I can assure you, nothing bad will happen in this story! So sit back and enjoy!^^

Summary
A rare and unexpected snowstorm hits Yokohama, leaving the Agency suffering in a shared dorm room. To further their luck, a city-wide blackout occurs, leaving Ranpo to lead his coworkers through the storm to Dazai’s secondary residence where they get more than they bargained for.
Or: Ranpo, Kunikida, Yosano and Atsushi show up on Dazai’s door step during a snowstorm, only to be met with Chuuya instead.

Summary
“Are you okay? Hurt anywhere? What happened?” Atsushi asks.
Always such a worrywart.
“I’m okay,” Kyouka responds. “I passed out.”
“Why?!” His voice is now more panicked. It’s not like she chose to pass out, so she shrugs.
Apparently hearing the weretiger’s concern, Dazai sweeps back in. “Ah, Atsushi-kun, Kunikida-kun wanted me to fetch you! Something about a missing assignment?”
Kyouka watches the internal battle on the white-haired boy’s face, his eyes flickering between the door, Dazai, and herself. Then, after receiving a nod from Yosano which Kyouka interprets to mean that she’s fine, he stands up, albeit reluctantly.
Halfway to the door, he seems to rethink something, half turning back to squint at Dazai. Suspicion clear in his voice, he questions, “This better not be you tricking me into doing your paperwork again.”
“I assure you on my life and well-being that this is not me tricking you into doing my paperwork,” Dazai swears, a hand against his chest in an oath only one gullible person in this room would believe.

Summary
the point is Chuuya isn’t a writer. He knows he isn't as well, sometimes his reports for Mori are honestly barely legible. Mori doesn’t make any comments about it really, but Elise sure does.
But, nonetheless, sometimes certain situations call for handwritten notes.
Like when your own demise is sitting on your desk in the form of a written order from your boss.
