Summary
Khârn's knees hit the floor before his brain catches up with them, cracking whatever the finish was, something inadequate to the weight and strength of an Astartes. The Nails tick faster but something older and deeper in his brain reacts with relief. This is the right thing to do. Being able to kneel for a primarch for the first time since his own was found releases a deep tension he'd almost stopped noticing.

Ramos shakes his head. Up close, he towers over Saqqara, a full head taller and his silhouette augmented by speakers and cables and blisters of wraithbone. "So long as you do not come here hunting," he says, gesturing at the daemon flasks on Saqqara's belts, "and you don't seek to disturb the Song."
"Gods forbid," Saqqara says. "This is the most straightforwardly holy place on this aggravating infidel vessel."

“What is wrong with you?” Khârn demands. “What was that?”
“I don’t— we— it…” Argel Tal trails off into a low, garbled hiss, looking frustrated. “We’re… hungry?”
