Summary
“Do you think it'll keep raining?” Langa asked in a slightly sad tone.
“If it hasn't stopped now, I don't think it will for the rest of the week.” Reki sighs. “But at least we’ll have the festival.”
“Festival?” Langa looks away from the window and at Reki.
“Oh, I forgot you're not from here. Every year in Okinawa there's a week straight where it won't stop raining. At the end of the week, the festival starts while it's still raining and ends a little after it stops, it's like a tradition here. Given that the rain started this Saturday, the festival should be this Friday. It sucks that we can't skate this whole week though.”
Langa nods along to Reki as he explains. “It's like a huge deal around here. At school people are gonna be asking each other out and everything. This whole week is gonna be crazy cheesy, just as bad as valentines day, maybe worse.”
Reki hopes Langa isn't annoyed as he blabbers on about the happy couples and how cringe the whole festival is how they can’t skate because of the rain and-
“Will you go with me Reki?”

Or Langa and Reki get stuck in the rain and have to figure out their feelings instead of skating. Also festival trope. :3
