──────────.🐞..─
You just wanted a good night's sleep—and maybe to finish that series without being interrupted by life. Instead, you woke up in Marinette Dupain-Cheng's body, in the middle of a Paris teetering on the brink of collapse because of dramatic supervillains and emotionally unstable heroes. Saving the world? An overrated concept. If it were up to you, you'd let Hawkmoth win just so you could get a decent nap. Too bad being the city's last hope comes with a contract... and zero opt-out clauses.

Jolene Would like one refund please. Not only did she get screwed over in her first life, she died young Godamm it! but she also got screwed over in her next life to!! She was Lila, Lila Rossi screw her two lives apparently.
Lila has to navigate a way to stay out of the plot, avoid being akumatized and most of all stay away from Marinette and Adrien. And hopefully not die in the process because now supervillains are very real and can kill you. Easier said than done tbh.

At 3 years old I woke up with knowledge I shouldn't have. Moreover, I quickly realised I was a character from a series that I loved. This meant changing the world for the better would be easy right? Right?

Ch 7
I was on the fence if I loved this or thought it was okay. I love the plot and concept but dialogue feels a bit stiff with the technical terms. But I do love a cold and capable Marinette! -

Summary
Marinette’s body wriggled its way through the throng of drunken teenagers. Black dress clinging to her sweaty body and witch’s hat beginning to tilt dangerously off her head. The Bobby pins are just barely holding onto the fabric for dear life.
She moved to the backyard of the house for the frosty night air to chill her lungs.
“Is a pretty witch like you looking for a familiar?”
Marinette froze in place, her hand rubbing the black soulmate bracelet blocking her words. Because whoever this guy is, he just said her words.
She took a deep breath and turned around, thinking of what she'd say back. It’s not like she’d been dreaming of this moment her entire life.
Looking him up and down, this boy dressed as a chat noir, she snorted, “Aren’t black cats supposed to be bad luck?”
The blond boy in front of her froze as well. Then he seemed to melt as a soft smile appeared on his face.
OR Marinette gets dragged to a Halloween party and finally meets her soulmate.
