You suppose that might be the reason why humanities saving Grace had always been your idol. He chose to leave to save you, and your neighbor and everyone else he left behind. If you had been in his shoes, you don’t think you could have made the same choice. But when a random Interview gives you the chance to follow in his footsteps, you can't help wanting your own journey into space.
—- LORE GAP —- I made Dr. Grace younger when he left so that by the time he got to Erid he was around 35, so he left around 25 (Younge genius, doctor at 21, disowned and then teacher for 3 years), and it took him approx. 6 years after finding rocky to get there —P.S, As I'm writing this, I will be going back to previous chapters to make revisions as the story progresses, so if there's a plot hole, please let me know or it might have just been an adjustment I've already made. I tried Really Really hard to get the math right on this guys.
