"They didn’t know if they outran Longan or if they had been running in circles, all the halls started to blur anyway. Mango, oh Mango, poor thing was already unconscious in his guardian’s arms.
Ananas’s wings felt broken and probably were. Having to revert to a more Cookie form wasn’t on their list to happen so soon but Longan had somehow been more powerful than anyone anticipated. At this point? Everyone had to resolve into a more defensive strategy."

Leonardo has a bad habit of sacrificing himself for his brothers. He did it during the kraang invasion, the second invasion, in space too many times to count—etc, etc.
Raphael and Donatello were never like that and yet somehow they’re stuck with making sure their self sacrificial brother doesn’t kill himself on impromptu suicide missions.
Michelangelo on the other hand.. he took after Leo a little too much. No one batted an eye when he started pulling the same stunts.
Or, five times these two dummies sacrificed themselves, and the one time it stuck.
