For a long time, people had speculated about Link's secondary gender.
No one had expected the seemingly impossible case of the boy's sixteenth birthday coming and going and there being no presentation at all. It seems impossible and yet here they were.
No one could have known that the key to his mystery laid embedded in a pedestal, sealing away great evil while waiting to be used by a hero for the third time.-----------------------------------
Or: In a Hyrule where a secondary gender exists, Vio has to deal with his newly presented teammates being hormonal idiots while trying to save his country. Oh, and of course there's Shadow Link to deal with, too.

When they first met, it was a bit chaotic. A pile of people thrown together with most harboring a mild to strong ranging paranoia. There were children and teenagers and only a few adults and there's nine of them all in all.
Now the Chain are a family, a pack. This throws up plenty challenges...but also plenty opportunities.

Honestly John didn't read the whole thing, he was just surprised that the Dark Knight was actually asking for help. But when he gets to the Batcave he meets a ghost even he wasn't prepared for...
