It sounds more like a statement than suggestion. Count Kim slides over a document on his desk with a click of his tongue. A marriage proposal.
"You're worth better than I thought you'd be."
The son nods obediently. He reads down the words on the documents. He finally understands why his father had said something about his worth. It’s a marriage proposal with a huge sum of money as a dowry.
A thin and frail omega like him would never be deemed desirable for most alpha suitors out there. He had expected to be married to a beta with dowry as much as how a piece of clothing would cost, or even less. Hell, he had already accepted his fate as a spinster for the rest of his life even.
In the document, it's stated that once the proposal is accepted, he will be betrothed to the Archduke Yoo. A man who was once a Crown Prince, but due to a conflict within the Imperial Family, he has been stripped off of his title as the Crown Prince. Now, he's an Archduke who resides by the borders, near the battlefront.
