It wasn't easy for the Touden siblings to give up right before meeting the Red Dragon, assuming they'd finally catch a break. But when a small, strange, party stopped them in their tracks, they simply had to listen. Realizing they didn't have the energy or resources for a serious fight with another party or the dragon.
But the small party caught the attention of Laios as the pair were *almost*.. monsters? A wererat AND a werecat were a sight to behold to the young fighter! Leading to the departure of Shuro after being turned down in his final love confession, and Namari leaving upon the lack of pay.
Now Laios writes all that he learns as they delve deeper in the dungeon, following the strange pair. Gaining new party members, new recipes, and new feelings along the way.
