Ellie was cold.
They’d given her an ugly gray sweater to wear over her hospital gown, the plasticky-fabric dress only going down to her mid thighs.
It didn’t really help.
The walls of the waiting room were all white, plane-framed children’s drawings adorning too-much space.

Summary
