Summary
Grace and Rocky are on their way to Erid when they encounter a strange terrestrial vessel that has somehow made its way to space. The single occupant is alive and Grace and Rocky rescue him, but they are then faced with the challenge of gaining this stranger's trust and dealing with the contamination he brought with him.

“Two things. First thing.” Rocky begins, holding one arm up, “Eridian crew return safe and sound from mission!”
“That’s great!” He nods.
Rocky holds up a second arm.
“Second thing: Eridian crew find strange moon. No landmasses. Consisted entirely of an ocean of blood.”

Summary
Iron Lung meets Project Hail Mary. After spotting the floating remnants of the Iron lung from the Hail Mary on Grace and Rocky's journey back to Erid, Grace insists on bringing it with them.
Grace gets on his space suit and goes and tethers it to the hail Mary. Rocky uses his ship to manufacture a link with the iron lung and they manage to pry open the window shield to reveal someone inside.
They manage to cut open the iron lung and get its sole passenger to med bay and have Armando stabilize him until they get to Erid.
Simon barely comes to, but just manages to make out Graces sillouette in front of a bright light, before falling unconscious and kept in a stable coma for the rest of the trip.How did the Iron Lung end up in space? How will these two Patron Saints of One Way Trips learn to cohabitate on a completely foreign world? Will Simon be able to adapt to living a more stable, civilian lifestyle? Will Simons shadows stay behind him and not destroy the life he will build for himself?
Will both of these lonely humans be able to find solace and acceptance being the only human souls on the edge of a foreign galaxy? Only time will tell.

Summary
After years of believing he was going to be alone forever, Ryland Grace is informed of a spacecraft drifting near Erid. The survivor he pulls aboard is Simon: younger, scarred, broad-shouldered, and carrying enough religious trauma to fill a spaceship. As recovery turns into late-night conversations, shared nightmares, and one very crowded bed, two men who have both been starved of human touch begin to realize that survival is easier when someone is there to reach back.
