Summary
In search of a bloodless end to the war, impossible as it may be, the cure seems to offer an answer to all of the the humans' prayers. Holy water, a purified beacon, and a few choice words are all that it takes to cure vampirism from the infected parties—whether they want it or not. Rolling back the clock in a single moment.
Literally rolling back the clock, that is to say. The cure undoes more than just the vampirism, instead bringing the person to back to before they ever even met their Sire. Physically and mentally.
The fight might be bloodless, but it is no less a struggle to be faced with the people who did so much harm; now stripped of their crimes, their memories, and their entire lives.
