"We have you listen here as the spouse of Nanjo Kojiro. Is tis information correct?" The lady on the other end of the call continues.
"Yes, that's right," Kaoru confirms, a sense of unease growing in his stomach.
"I see...sir, I am sorry to say, but you husband has been killed in a driving accident. We'll need you to come in and identify the body as soon as possible."OR
Kaoru/Cherry gets a call from the hospital saying Kojiro/Joe was killed in a drunk driving accident. So, he has to hold himself together while also keeping the kids from falling apart while they work through everything.
