Aoyama doesn't know what's happening. He remembers things that are impossible and doesn't remember doing things that he must have. His parents tell him that nothing bad happened to him as a child, but he keeps dreaming of his own death and he isn't sure if he believes them. This is ridiculous of course because a dream is just a dream and he can't be dead because he's here. His parents would never lie to him (right?)
