Born to a family of stationers, Yuuri is a "run of the mill" witch who hopes to one day make a contraption good enough to be used by people all over the Zozah peninsula. After failing to meet his own expectations at Silver Eve, he soon comes face to face with living legend Victor Nikiforov, who offers to help Yuuri at his lowest point.

“Victor!” Yuuri says, picking his head up from where it had been resting on the other’s bicep, and he speaks as if he’s just had the most ground-breaking, innovative idea, “we should make s’mores!” It comes out of nowhere, but he sounds so excited, so enthusiastic, and it’s the first thing he’s said in a little while and Victor wants to immediately agree. Still, the Russian's eyes furrow and he tilts his head as he questions his fiancé.
